How to put in Clip in feather extensions and take them off?

Well, this post is late I suppose!  Since a lot of friends had asked us: ” How to put in my clip in feather extensions?” or ” I bought some feather clips for my kids, but I have no idea how to put them on?”.  And some readers aslo had problem with the useage of the hair feather clips, some clip in feathers won’t stay in kids’ hair steadily instead they are easy to fall off. Here in This post I will answer all these questions.
First, there are so many kinds of hair clips. Some are in good quality and condition while some are not. If your feather clip just can’t stay well in hair, you might need to check if the clips are good clips.  A nice quality feather clip should be like this:

First let’s take a over view about the metal clips, the metal clip is convertible, when it was clamped, it will clamp some hair on your head, which allow the whole clip stay steadily in hair!

And follow below steps, I am pretty sure you can put in your clip in feather extensions correctly, actually it’s pretty easy!

find the position you want to put in the clip!

You can put the clip in any position on your head if you want. But usually we will put it on left side or right side of head which enough to make a wild or cute look for feathered hair.

Hold a small wisp of hair, and put it right into the two discs of the metal clip, don’t put too much or too little!

Clamp the metal clip, make  the two discs closed so the metal clip will clamp the wisp of hair steadily and closely. If you do it well, the clip will definitely have no chance to fall off.

Put some hair down to make the metal clip be coved, make sure people can only see feathers on your head but there’s no “clip”! And finally it should be like this:
